1 Timothy 3:1-7 NLT

This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?); not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil. Moreover, he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to be a Minister of the Gospel, or a Bishop, an Apostle, a Prophet, a Teacher, or even an Elder, these are all good things to desire, but we must have the humility of Jesus within us in order, to be able to lead a flock in the church. God has given me the gift of teaching, and I intend to use the gift to teach others about the Word of God, and through this blog and other blogs, I will be teaching you what the bible says about the end times, and what it will look like after the Rapture and before the Second Coming. I found a website called God's Living Words Ministries and they have wonderful courses to take to be an Ordained Minister. I'm looking forward to the day when someone asks me to marry them as per the Word of God.

Paul gave Timothy the instructions to use in his church as to how one who desires leadership in the church should be, Paul knew that man isn't perfect, and can never be, he wanted to let Timothy know that certain things should not be in the church, especially in leadership.  The things that were written about what NOT a Bishop is supposed to be is to be worldly. We are to be separate from the world, and not to be a part of the world by partaking in the things mentioned above.  As a Christian we are to be separate, and we are to love the people, we do not accept the sins of the world, but through showing the love of Christ our goal as a Christian is to lead people to Christ.  God loves us, He created us, and all He wants is a relationship with Him.  So, if you haven't asked Jesus into your heart today, do so today, and you will be amazed at the transformation that will take place.  Find a bible believing church, and get into the Word, you will learn about Jesus, and how He is coming back for His Bride/The Church...
